Italy Traveling by way of Milano, we drive into the Padana Valley for town of Cremona. There we board the newest riverboat, the River Cloud II of Sea Cloud Cruises, for our journey down the Po River. Stops include towns like Boretto, for Parma, Ferrara, Polessela, and Porto Viro before navigating through the Po Delta and out into the Adriatic. Once out in the sea, we head north for first entry in the Venice Lagoon and sailing past charming towns on the Lido before docking in the Doroduro section on the Canale Della Giudecca at the Stazione Marittima where we stayed docked for several days of exploration of the wonders plus the famous Bienniale.
